Short Form Video Editor Contractor
This editor crafts engaging short-form videos, bringing together elements of visual storytelling and brand consistency. Working closely with the Client Relations Team, they ensure all videos resonate with the intended audience and meet quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Video Editing: Edit short-form videos (typically ranging from a few seconds to a minute) to create engaging and visually appealing content for various digital platforms, including social media, TikTok, YouTube & Instagram.
Strategy Alignment: Ensure all content aligns with the client’s brand identity and business objectives, working in collaboration with the Client representatives.
Analytics: Utilize data to refine content, ensuring it resonates with our audience and achieves desired outcomes.
SKILLS:
Video Editing Software Proficiency: Mastery of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant tools to edit and enhance video content.
Fast-Paced Storytelling: The ability to distill a message or story into a short video format, often with a limited duration, and engage viewers effectively, pulling users quickly to a Call To Action (CTA).
Text and Graphics Integration: Adding text overlays, subtitles, animations, and other graphic elements to convey information or enhance the video's impact.
Adherence to Trends: Staying current with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and styles that are effective on social media.
Quality Control: Performing rigorous quality checks to ensure the final videos meet professional standards.

COMPENSATION:
This position is compensated per edited video. The complexity and length of each project determines payment. Also, compensation includes commissions from referals successfully brought to work with Better Brands.
